J-Day 2025

This past Tuesday, September 16th, Camilla Spillmann (grade 11) and Jonah Vimont (grade 12), attended the second annual J-Day. At this event, they interviewed participating supporters, reported on speeches, and spoke with council woman, Gale Brewer about her involvement in the program. This event is organized by the Youth Journalism Coalition and advocates for the Journalism for All program to be made available in more schools across the city. Tom and the newspaper team are incredibly excited to be a part of an initial cohort of schools participating in Journalism for All that will take the form of a new class at WESS this coming year.
