Simon was born and raised in Harlem and has attended WESS since 6th grade. He was a member of the old WESS Gazette and is one of the individuals who brought it back at the end of 2024. He helps plan club meetings, communicate with WESS administration, plan the print editions, write articles, and edit articles. 

Simon is also the Vice President of Student Council, Chapter President of Best Buddies, Co-President of WESS Photoclub, a student rep on the School Leadership Team, and a varsity athlete on the WESS Cross Country and Track teams.
